NISS Chief Briefed on Programmes and Future Plans of Khartoum State

Khartoum - (SUNA) The Chief ofthe Security and Intelligence Service, 1st Lt. Gen. Eng. (Security), Salah Abdallah Mohamed Salih, Sunday met with the Governor of Khartoum State, Lt. Gen. Abdul-Rahim Mohamed Hussein, and reviewed the state's programmes and future plans and the situation of their implementation, with concentration on the project of Khartoum as the land of investment opportunities which as proposed by Khartoum State as an attractive and encouraging option for Sudanese and foreign capitals.
The meeting also discussed projects for development of Jaili Industrial Town, the Leather Industrial Town, employees' housing at Jeili Industrial Town, Solar Power Station, flying and Nile Bridges, enhancement of Nile beaches, enhancement and rehabilitation of roads, establishment of water stations, the sewage system and implementation of rural development projects.
