NISS Director Emphasizes the Importance of Upgrading Sudanese Navy

Khartoum (SMC) – National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS) Director, 1st Lt. Gen. (Eng.) Salah Abdallah

affirmed that the escalation of threats and its methods requires from Sudan to upgrade the capabilities of it naval intelligence through using the modern technology in monitoring of regional waters.
NISS Director attended the graduation of general 14th navy course organized by the NISS which included drills of navy clashes, airdrops operations, row and diving.
For his part, NISS Operations commander, Lt. Gen. Dukhri Al-Zaman Omer affirmed their concern over training the naval elements which is considered one of the specialized departments within the NISS, adding that the naval intelligence has an effective role in protection, monitoring and data collection in coordination with other security departments, besides its role in anti-human trafficking activities.
