Khartoum - The National Telecommunication Corporation marks next Wednesday, May 17, the World Telecommunication

and Information Society Day, under the motto of “Big Data for Big Impact.”
Chairman of the organizing committee for marking the world day Babiker Mohamed Saeed said the National Telecommunication Corporation in its capacity as the regulatory body of telecommunications in Sudan marks World Telecommunication and Information Society Day as one of the regional and international events which are organized annually by the International Telecommunication Union to reflect the big impact of the sector on the society and its effective social and economic roles.
He explained that marking of the world day will be preceded by a celebration on Monday, May 15, at Wadi Al Nil University in River Nile State. The main event would be held at the premises of the National Telecommunication Corporation in Khartoum on May 17, he added.
