Fourth Forum of NSWF Secretaries Kicks off in Al-Obeid

Al-Obeid - Governor of North Kordofan State Ahmed Mohamed Haroun has urged the governments of the various states of Sudan to give due concern to the integration of

students living in hostels in their states in the social and cultural contexts in a view to strengthening the bonds of national unity.
The Governor, addressing the Fourth Forum of the Secretaries of the National Students Welfare Fund (NSWF) of the States here yesterday, lauded the great role being played by the fund in serving the students of the states of Sudan and creating conducive educational environment.
NSWF Secretary General Prof. Mohamed Abdallah Al-Nagarabi, on his part, said that they are facing the challenges of expanding their services to cover the great numbers of universities in the country.
He pointed out that the convening of the fourth forum of NSWF state secretaries in Al-Obeid gains added importance as the fund is celebrating its Silver Jubilee, saying that the coming stage needs effecting development in the fund’s work.
Director of the States Department at NSWF Abdulaziz Mirghani, on his part, said the forum will discuss five working papers as the fund faces the challenges of expansion.
Meanwhile, Governor Haroun inaugurated yesterday new university hostels for students housing in the presence of the NSWF Secretary General.
