Khartoum - (SMC) Abyei Joint Oversight Committee (AJOC) revealed its receiving an invitation from the African Union to held the joint meeting of the committee in Abyei area on the 30th of May.
AJOC Chairman, Eng. Hassan Ali Nimir stated to (SMC) that the meeting will last for two days and will include Sudan, South Sudan in participation of local leading figures from both Dinka Ngok and Misseiriya, pointing out that the affirmed to the AU their readiness for the meeting in the determined date and venue.
He affirmed that they started arrangements for the participation in the meeting, adding that the most important agendas is the implementation of 20 June 2011 agreement on the security and administrative arrangements.
