Sudan and Turkey to Hold Military Talks in Ankara

Khartoum - Sudan's army chief of staff left for Turkey for talks with his Turkish counterpart, a Sudanese military information statement said.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lieutenant General Dr Kamal Abdul-Maarouf Al-Mahi; accompanied by a high-level delegation on a two-day official visit at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart.
During the visit, the Sudanese delegation will witness the conclusion of joint field exercises organized by the Turkish armed forces in Izmir with the participation of chiefs of staff and military commanders of a number of countries around the world.
Sudan and Turkey signed 12 joint agreements during President Recep Tayyib Erdogan's visit to Khartoum last December.
