Government Reiterates Call for Opposition to Join the Peace Process

Khartoum – Government has renewed its call to the opposition and armed groups to join the peace process and resolve the disputes through dialogue

, adding that the dialogue door is still open to all who want to join the peace process.
Minister of Cabinet, Ahmed Saad Omer said, in the independence forum title Independence and the Consequences of the National Dialogue organized by the high committee of the 62nd independence anniversary, that those who are calling the people to go to the streets have to wait till 2020 elections, pointing out that this government  came through ballot boxes, affirming that freedoms are available.
For his part, Nassiri Party Secretary General, Dr. Mustafa Mahmoud called for the continuation of the national dialogue which he considered as the only way out to avoid the collapse of the state.
Dr. Al-Sadiq Al-Hadi Al-Mahdi said that the national dialogue is the third independence of Sudan .
State Minister at the Federal Rule Ministry, Maj. Gen. Omran Yahia said that all Sudanese should work to lift Sudan’s name from the list of sponsoring terrorism states.
