MoU on Judicial Field between Sudan and Palestine Signed

Khartoum - The Sudanese and Palestine sides of the joint ministerial committee have signed a memo of understanding in judicial field whereby the Minister of Justice his honor Dr, Awad Al Hassan Al Nour signed for Sudan while the Minister of Justice of the Palestinian Authority signed for Palestine.
The memo included a number of cooperation spheres between the Sudanese Ministry of Justice and the Palestinian Ministry of Justice, these are training fields, exchange of expertise, legal and judicial coordination at the regional and international forums.
The two sides expressed their true desire in implementing all the axes included in the agreement in a manner that enhances relations between the two countries in the upcoming phase.
It is to be noted that the Palestinian government has welcomed the US executive order on lifting sanctions imposed on Sudan, describing it as an important step towards achieving development in Sudan.
Palestinian Foreign Minister, Dr. Riad Al-Malki who is leading his country’s delegation for the joint ministerial meetings with Sudan said after meeting with Vice President that they are very happy with lifting the sanctions imposed on Sudan.
Meanwhile, Vice President met with the Qatari Eid Charity Foundation, Sheikh Ali Abdallah where they discussed the Qatari role in the peace process in Darfur.
He said that the projects implemented cost about US$75 million including housing unit in Kassala where 300 houses, educational and health unit were built, affirming that they are working in areas other than Darfur.
