Elberier: We Look Forward for Quality Shift in Economic Relations with Turkey

Khartoum- Chairman of the Sudanese Businessmen Union Saud Elberier has affirmed that the Sudanese businessmen are looking forward for continuation of joint efforts between Sudan and Turkey for increasing the volume of trade exchanges between the two countries and joint investments for effecting the aspired integration.
The Chairman of the Sudanese Businessmen Union, addressing the Sudanese-Turkish Forum at Al Salam Rotana Hotel in Khartoum, said they are looking forward that meetings between members of the delegation of the visiting Turkish businessmen and their Sudanese counterpart would lead to a quality shift in the progress of the relations of economic cooperation between the two countries.
He reaffirmed readiness of the Sudanese private sector for cooperation with its Turkish counterpart, referring to the concern accorded by the leaderships of the two countries with joint investments.
The Turkish Minister of Agriculture, on his part, announced opening of a Turkish commercial bank in Sudan, saying that they aim at increasing the volume of trade exchange between the two countries from 500 million dollars to a billion dollar.
The chairman of the Turkish side, on his part, expressed hope that the volume of trade exchange would reach two billion dollars in 2020.
