ver the years, most people from outside the United States would describe the country as ‘the mother of freedom
, equality, and democracy’. That was at least, a long time ago, before Donald J. Trump took office. However, President Trump’s presence in the White House has changed everything in the eyes of the world.
Since the beginning of his campaign rallies, Donald Trump, the then Republican candidate and now the president of the United States, had launched series of attacks on the very diversity America is proud of. Based on his own instinct, immigrants are solely responsible for most of the crimes the country has been experiencing, including humanitarian immigrants. Thus, his massive supporters started to believe that unleashed loathe against the immigrants should be applied as the ideal way to combat crimes in the nation. ‘Trump effect’, as it is called, has victimized families of minorities who live in the US, as well as those who are citizens of the United States. One of such hateful attacks was the Charlottesville Violence, where the white nationalist launched attacks that left three people dead. The ‘Unite the Right’ rally was one of such rallies among others, carried out by the White Supremacists. The movement that was removed from the list of domestic terrorists shortly after Trump became the president.
Attacking the intelligence communities
Although there are always issues associated with throne bearers everywhere, with the exception of Donald J. Trump, no one has ever heard of a sitting United States president with the habit of publicly attacking the FBI and the CIA. We have to admit the fact that the FBI is not perfect- however, should the president turn himself into a tool of attacking the reputation of the intelligence communities in question, on regular basis? As such, millions of citizens acknowledge Trump as ‘the national embarrassment’ to the greatness of the Washington.
On criticizing Russia
Every American knows that one of the worst foes to the United States was Russia. For Trump, that was not the case. In fact, when Russia was accused of meddling the US election, President Trump a few times argued that it was probably someone else other than Russia. It was at that time blatant that he was trying to defend his ‘only God knows’ relationship with Russia, and at the same time creating sour ties with some of America’s longtime allies, the EU for instance. Because, ever since Trump was sworn in, the US EU relationship has been growing weaker. Due to the manners in which the US president tweets harsh words against his political oppositions and leaders of other nations alike. His predecessors are not excluded in his massive bullies. He repeatedly pointed words like ‘stupid leaders’ among other name calling games of his, towards George W. Bush and Obama.
Trump attacked a London Mayor
It is well known that there are only two countries in the world whose citizens have fought alongside American troops since the First World War: Britain and Australia. However, during the unfortunate London Bridge terrorist attack, President Trump launched series of attacks via tweets on a London’s Mayor, Sadiq Khan, in which triggered the Britain’s prime minister among others to come to Khan’s defense. This shows that the British government was not happy with Trump’s bitter interference into its domestic issues.
Trump on Australia
The US president usually lashes on whoever, including those who always stand side by side with the United States at wars. On a phone conversation, Trump told Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull that the refugee agreement between the two countries was the “worst deal ever,” calling their conversation the “worst call” and abruptly ending the exchange 25 minutes, which was supposed to be an hour-long talk.
"When you hear about the tough phone calls I'm having don't worry about it, just don't worry about it. They're tough. We have to be tough, it's time we're going to be a little tough, folks. We're taken advantage of by every nation in the world virtually. It's not going to happen anymore," he said.
With Trump’s behaviors of creating divisions among Americans, limiting the rights of free press, putting on strains on American values as well as turning allies into enemies and foes into friends, where do you see his unprofessional acts leading the United States? Towards success and dignity retention? This is what every logic mind would firmly doubt.
