Rehabilitation of the Largest Market for Livestock Export in Darfur

Khartoum – Zalingei Locality of Central Darfur State conducted a technical maintenance to Teraig market for livestock to accommodate more than two thousand head of cattle per week, while the governor of the state, Jaafar Abdul Hakam opened a number of sources of drinking water in the area.
The governor said, when he addressed the people of the area, that Teraig market is one of the largest markets for livestock export in Darfur, which prompted the government to work on its development and organization, to increase the income and contribute effectively in the national economy, and to provide the area with more clean water sources, and veterinarian center with cadres.
He directed the ministry of physical planning to make planning to the said village, besides rehabilitation of the mosque, pledging Zalingei  Locality with additional stations for the benefit of nomadic villages and peripheral areas.
