Khartoum - The Governor of Central Bank of Sudan (CBOS), Dr. Mohamed Khair Al-Zubair, has acknowledged challenges facing the commercial banks concerning liquidity
aspect, affirming capability of the employees of the banks to surpass the challenges.
The CBOS Governor welcomed the visit paid by Prime Minister and Minister of Finance and Economic Planning Mutaz Musa to the central bank on Tuesday.
The governor of the central bank affirmed in a press statement that they would exert serious efforts concerning management of money inside the banking system and provision of foreign exchange for covering urgent needs of commodities such as wheat, fuel and medicines.
He affirmed importance of curbing inflation and working for stabilization of the exchange rate of the national currency, noting that the CBOS has experts and leaderships who are capable of facing the challenges.
