Khartoum – Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Lt. Gen. Dr. Mohammed Osman Al-Rikabi affirmed that the visit of the Turkish Deputy Minister of Trade comes within
the framework of the exchanged visits to strengthen the relations between the two countries in the economical and trade aspects in response to the directives of the Presidents of the two countries.
He added that Sudan and Turkey have witnessed the exchange of visits which wee crowned by the signature of economical agreements besides setting a roadmap on the mechanism to implement what was agreed on in economical, finance, banking, oil, gas, agriculture, animal wealth, industry, minerals, and trade.
Al-Rikabi pointed out that the visit aims at boosting the economical cooperation and follow up of the implementation of the projects.
For his part, Turkish Deputy Minister of Trade, Al-Fateh Mateen said that his previous visit to Sudan was successful and achieved several goals including boosting the relations between the two countries, adding that an intensive programme was set for the visit including the signature of important agreements on cooperation and investment leading to a roadmap in all aspects to translate the cooperation into reality through the implementation of the agreements.
Mateen added that Turkey will be the future of Sudan and Sudan will be the future of Turkey, pointing out that he is accompanied by 40 businessmen besides 10 of public sector high top officials.
He concluded that the economical partnership agreement between Sudan and Turkey which will be signed next October will have its positive impact to the Sudanese exporters to open new markets in Turkey.
