Animal Resources Ministry Affirms State’s Concern with Development of National Herd

Khartoum - The Ministry of Animal Resources has reaffirmed its keenness on the health and protection of the national herd for increasing production and productivity in the

country.
Minister of Animal Resources Bushara Jumaa Aror has announced that Sudan produces some 21 veterinary vaccines.
The Minister underscored during a meeting at his office with the Commissioner of Abu-Zabad Locality of Western Kordofan State Hassan Mohamed and the accompanying delegation the importance of coordination of efforts between his ministry and the states in the field of provision of veterinary services and other services such as water and electricity for developing the animal resources sector for its important contribution to poverty reduction and realization of sustainable development.
The Commissioner of Abu-Zabad Locality, on his part, lauded the efforts being exerted by the federal Ministry of Animal Resources for developing the sector, calling for provision of the required services to the area for increasing production and productivity.
