World Bank Praises Sudan Role on Hosting Great Number of Refugees and Migrants

Minister of International Cooperation, Idris Suleiman praised the significant support being provided by the World Bank to Sudan during the last period, which resulted in the implementation of several development projects in the country.
This came during his meeting here with the World Bank Country Director.
The minister said that the meeting tackled economic issues especially programs of fighting poverty and improvement of living, indicating that Sudan hosts a great number of refugees and migrants from neighboring countries, adding that the two sides agreed to form n action group of development partners and relevant governmental bodies to attract technical support for economic and social development in Sudan.
For his part, the Country Director affirmed that the bank working with other partners with full coordination to provide support for the development in the country.
