Sudan Celebrates Today the 62nd Independence Declaration from within Parliament

Khartoum - Vice President of the Republic Hassabo Mohamed Abdul Rahman is to address today at 10 a.m. at Khartoum Legislative Council the independence day marking the

62nd anniversary of declaring Sudan's independence from within the parliament under the sponsorship of 1st Lt. Gen. (Eng.) Abdul Rahim Mohamed Hussein, Khartoum State Governor and the supervision of Engineer Siddig Mohamed Ali Al-Sheikh Speaker of Khartoum state Legislative Assembly at the main hall of the said council.
Vice President of the Republic Hassabo Mohamed Abdul Rahman has yesterday chaired at the Republican Palace the meeting of the high committee for preparing for the celebrations of independence anniversary on 1st of next January.
Minister of Information Ahmed Bilal Osman noted that specialized committees were formed and each committee will prepare its programs, outlining that the celebration will be a popular one in the light of the national accord government and the security stability the country is seeing.
The Minister expressed hope that all the sons of the homeland abroad would return for the unity of ranks and that the celebration would be an occasion that embodies the true national stand and Sudan is for all.
