Political Forces: Sudan Deserves Removing its Name from Terrorism List

Khartoum- Political forces have affirmed that Sudan deserves to be removed from the US list of states sponsoring terrorism, after the country has fulfilled all the requirements pertinent to the five tracks in the dialogue with Washington.
Chairman of the External Relations Department at the National Congress Party Kamal Ismail affirmed in a press statement continuation of negotiations and meetings with Washington for removing Sudan’s name from the terrorism list, pointing out that Sudan has fulfilled all the requirements in this regard.
He noted that Sudan has affirmed its cooperation and that it doesn’t support or sponsor terrorism anywhere and that it is keen on security and stability in all states.
Meanwhile, the Unionist Party, the Origin, has called on the United States of America to remove the name of Sudan from the list of states sponsoring terrorism.
Deputy Chairman of the Unionist Party, the Origin, Lt.Gen. Abdel-Rahman Saeed said in a press statement that lifting of the economic sanctions on Sudan represents a glimpse of hope for removing its name from the list of states sponsoring terrorism, besides pardoning its foreign debts.
Leading member of the Popular Congress Party Dr. Abu-Bakr Abdel-Razig, on his part, said Sudan deserves now to be removed from the list of states sponsoring terrorism, indicating that the government of Sudan had shown steadfast in the face of the economic blockade.
