Haroun Welcomes Turkish Investments in N. Kordofan

Al-Obied (SUNA) – The Governor of North Kordofan State Ahmed Haroun has welcomed the Turkish investments

, stressing that they will be a successful model of the partnership between the two brotherly countries. During his visit to Turkey, the Governor briefed the Turkish Deputy Minister of Trade Al-Fatih Mateen opportunities and fields of cooperation and investment in the North Kordofan State, reviewing the potentials of the state in the fields of agricultural and animal investment. In the presence of the Sudanese Ambassador to Turkey Yusuf Al-Kordofani, Haroun reviewed with the Governor of Ankara the joint cooperation in the field of municipal administration and development of projects to benefit from the Turkish experience in the technical and technological fields.  Haroun discussed with Deputy Chairman of the Ruling Justice and Development Party Jawdat Al-Maaz the strategic cooperation agreements between the two brotherly countries and activation of the memorandums of understanding signed between the two parties. The Governor agreed with the chairperson and members of the Ankara Bourse for Meat and Grain on joint cooperation, extending invitation to them to visit the state during the next month.
