Cabinet Confirms Decline in Intertribal Conflicts in States

Khartoum-The Cabinet welcomed on Thursday and announced its commitment to the outcomes of the national dialogue.
The Cabinet hailed the parties and movements that have signed the national document, revealing decline in a sporadic intertribal conflicts and dispute over the past year.  
“The Cabinet debated reports by states in different areas,” the Secretary of the Cabinet Omar Mohamed Saleh told reporters after the Cabinet’s session last Thursday.
He pointed to a decline in tribal conflicts over the past year, revealing endorsement of local rule law and border demarcation among the states to avert any potential conflicts.
Salef further disclosed measures to prevent the smuggling of strategic commodities outside the country, adding the Cabinet has approved a bill to combat terrorism and crime in east African countries.
The cabinet also approved a diplomatic and Consulate bill, amended 2016; in addition to an agreement to establish a Sudanese-Palestinian ministerial committee.
